Approach

I came to photography at thirty, after years of managing a Starbucks and knowing it was not the thing. Fourteen years later I am still doing it, which tells you most of what you need to know. Photography is what I do, but people are the actual reason.

On a wedding day I am part photographer, part calm presence, part hype woman. I build the timeline with you beforehand so the day has room in it, I keep the family formals moving, and then I mostly get out of the way. The best frames are the ones nobody posed for.

Everything is edited light and airy with true-to-life color, so the dress stays white, the greens stay green and nobody comes out orange. Home is Indianapolis with my husband Jon and our two kids, Jackson and Harper, and I am booking weddings for 2026 and 2027.
